OME is working with Ecology Vision and Movie Club to show an uplifting documentary featuring Māori and Pākehā kaitiaki repo, or swamp guardians, working across the motu to restore Aotearoa's precious wetlands. There will also be a chance to hear about OME's local wetland restoration project in Medlands. The usual movie night charge applies.
With over 90% of New Zealand's wetlands destroyed by development it is high time we start appreciating what is left of these precious natural environments.
